I work to reduce parts of our society based in plasticity and waste by upcycling materials into wearable jewelry or decorative wall hangings. And upcycling makes every piece one of a kind :)

 

As an Art Educator, I am an active advocate for art education as well as creating lesson plans rooted in sustainability to encourage future generations to learn how to use what's around them to change the world.

Advocacy Statement: Art education helps students explore and learn about emotions, different perspectives, other disciplines, and themselves. It supports students' emotional well-being by creating an inclusive environment that encourages self-discovery. It emboldens creative problem-solving, continuous growth and reflection, and critical thinking skills.
